This is it: The Young, Tough Boston Celtics

This is It. The broken and battered Celtics are up 3-2 and are one win away from going to the Finals. They need to get their shit together, go into Cleveland, and completely silence the crowd and kick Lebron and the Cavs ass. This is a young Boston team who is willing to grit and grind and compete to win no matter the circumstances. The team has the passion and the fight to win but they need to win on the fucking road. This team has played like dog shit on the road and this Game 6 on the road is the most important game of the season. If they let this series go to 7 games, I am not sure what the outcome will show. Game 7 Lebron is a whole other animal to face and the Celtics don’t have much of an answer for him in this series as it is.
The calls aren’t going to go their way on the road either. But they need to get up and keep moving forward and bring that defense that physically dominated the Cavs in Games 1 and 2 need to come out and surprise the Cavs on the road. They need to be hard, aggressive and kick them in the teeth if they want to win this series and go to the NBA Finals.
The Celtics are going to have to do things they don’t do normally on the road and that is hit their shots. The Celtics have struggled on the road especially in this series and it needs to come to an end tomorrow night. I know Brad Stevens will have something up his sleeve but they have to be prepared for the Cavs to show up especially Lebron since they are facing elimination. I think the “Lebron looks tired” excuse is absolute garbage. It’s just a big excuse to give Lebron a pass to slip outta this series if they lose.
The Celtics are going to need a huge offensive night. I’m sure that Korver will be shooting well off of screens on the home floor and Kevin Love will be playing well. It will be up to how well J.R. Smith and George Hill play. If Rozier and Brown have nights like yesterday it won’t be good enough. They need a huge game from both of those guys and if Horford and Tatum play well which they have all series this should be over. It will be curious to see how the Celtics will respond to the adversity. This is a young and inexperienced team but they have the ability to do it.
