2-1-0 on the week- (+2.1 Units)

(Odds Based on Bovada)

Yesterday had one game postponed to today. Usually, when that happens, the bet is refunded. The +190 odds on Oakland paid off big, and the Cardinals won handedly, as I predicted. +2.1 units on 3 bets is a very solid day. Let’s keep it up today and get some more wins.

My 5 Best Bets of the Day

  1. Pittsburgh Pirates at St. Louis Cardinals (-1.5 Runs) (+120)

Was I wrong on this yesterday? No I was not, trust me again, same bet, same reason.

2. Under 9 runs (+100) Washington Nationals at Philadelphia Phillies

These division rivals are both clawing for a wild card spot. Arrieta has been pitching very well over has last 10 starts. The pitchers’ ERA makes this game look like it should be over. The division rivalry and postseason race should change the composition of the game. Trust the under here.

      3. Toronto Blue Jays (-1.5 Runs) (+135) at Baltimore Orioles

The Blue Jays suffered an embarrassing loss to the Orioles last night. Look for a bounce back game against one of the weakest starters in baseball, Alex Cobb ,with an ERA of 5 this season. Ryan Borucki is better at a 4.12 but against this weak Orioles lineup, he will look like a stud. Look for a regression to the mean for both of these teams.

       4. Milwaukee Brewers at Cincinnati Reds (+143)

Straight up, with Matt Harvey pitching, and at home, the Reds have a great chance to win, and by great I mean about 50%. With their best pitcher going and the +143 odds, give Cincinnati a chance.

        5. Under 10.5 runs -120 (LA Dodgers at Texas Rangers)

Only 5 MLB games scored over 11 runs yesterday. Scoring 10+ is a statistical improbability for any game and thus, with no other reason, take the under here.
