2018 All-Star Saturday Night Predictions

NBA All-Star Saturday night is underway and the weekend has been spectacular already. We saw Quavo win the Celebrity game MVP and saw a fantastic Rookie-Sophomore Showcase with some spectacular dunks but it’s time for the main events of the weekend, The Three Point Contest and the Slam Dunk Contest.
Competing in the Three Point Contest will be: G Klay Thompson, G Kyle Lowry, G Eric Gordon, G Devin Booker, F Paul George, F Tobias Harris, G Bradley Beal, and G Wayne Ellington. While there is lots of hype surrounding Klay Thompson in this contest I’m going to go with a underdog in Devin Booker. Booker is a fantastic shooter and is gonna show off his stuff in this contest and take home the trophy. Booker is currently shooting 38.3% from three and is averaging 24.2ppg this season. He is a very young and upcoming talent in the NBA and I can’t wait for the day that he ends up in the big game on Sunday Night.
Competing in the Dunk Contest will be: G Donovan Mitchell, G Victor Oladipo, G Dennis Smith Jr., and F Larry Nance Jr. While I feel like Dennis Smith Jr. has the best shot, I think Oladipo will come out on top. He has experience in the contest and is having a big year in the NBA this season. He’s got tons of athletic ability and I can’t wait to see him get creative in the Dunk Contest. Oladipo has big time ability and you are going to see it on display come tonight.
