2017 NBA Mock Draft 3.0
June 22, 2017The third and final 2017 NBA Mock Draft by Tailgate Sports is here! Picks 1 and 2 are definitely locked and guaranteed, but Boston still could pull off a last minute deal with New York to bring Kristaps Porzingis to the Garden. If the deal doesn’t go down, Jayson Tatum, Josh Jackson, and Jonathan Isaac are all rumored to be picked at #3. Personally, if Boston is keeping the pick, I’m certain they’ll chose Duke’s own, Jayson Tatum, especially since Josh Jackson refused to workout for the C’s multiple times this week. Malik Monk, as much as I hate to say it, will probably drop out of the top 10 and might find a spot on a soon to be struggling Detroit Pistons team. Also, look for Justin Jackson to go anywhere as early as pick 9 or as late as pick 14 (in fact, I think Jackson will shine in Miami). Also, and I have no shame with the extremely biased prediction, but I have a strong feeling that this will be the first year since 2013 where Colorado Basketball finds one of their players going in the first round of the NBA Draft. So congratulations to Derrick White on joining an elite tier of CU basketball players! You can read our first NBA mock draft here and our second one here, let us know how you think the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft will go down in the comments below, and get ready for the Draft to commence, as we are minutes away from the 76ers being on the clock!
