2017 NFL Draft Position Rankings: Defense

2017 NFL Draft Position Rankings: Defense

March 24, 2017 Off By tailgatesports

With the 2017 NFL Combine over with, and Pro Days complete, which players performances helped them out? This years defensive class is the deepest one that I have personally ever seen. You can get a player from each position that would have a major impact for your team right away. All 32 NFL teams will rejoice at this because of the major need for different defensive positions, but these picks usually don’t pay off immediately as some players may need time to develop. This will not be the case for this years draft, however, as most players taken in the first and second round for defense won’t need time to develop their play style and help your team’s chances for a Super Bowl run. Every round in the 2017 NFL Draft will be interesting as any defensive player taken from round one to seven could become a superstar and eventually a Hall Of Famer in the league.
